AMD CY high-end multipurpose grain colour sorters use visible-light sorting for heavy-dust grains, corn, peanuts, raisins and similar product. Capacity is up to about 12 tonnes per hour depending on chute count and product.
CY n is AI only. PCY n is AI plus deep learning, including shape-based sorting when the contaminant is a similar colour to the product. n is the number of chutes. Capacity is typically 800 kg to 1 t/h per chute. CY3 and PCY3 use a wide viewing area between cameras and suit dusty product. CY5 to CY12 and PCY5 to PCY12 cover five to twelve chute machines.
The platform is modular, with a new intelligent algorithm and communication architecture, AI multi-dimensional self-learning, optional multi-dimensional cameras, and cloud monitoring. Versus the previous generation, output is increased by about 15%, accuracy by about 10%, and carryover reduced by about 20%.
