Standard metal detectors struggle with aluminium foil and metallised packaging, which reads as a constant metal signal. The NAD4000 uses a magnetic sensing technology tuned specifically to see through aluminium packaging and detect genuine ferrous and stainless-steel contamination inside, without resorting to X-ray inspection.
