The NMD530 pipe type detector is built into a pipeline to inspect liquid and pastry (paste-like) products for metal contamination as they flow through. A ball-valve separation system diverts contaminated product with minimal loss, keeping the line running continuously. The unit is wash-down capable and rated for high-temperature products up to 80°C.
