The AMD LUX series is AMD's next-generation optical sorting platform for high-standard agricultural and food processing. AI-based sorting with full 360-degree inspection delivers stable, high-purity separation across grains, beans, pulses, nuts, seeds and dried fruit.
Unlike conventional open-frame optical sorters that are easily affected by dust, vibration and environmental fluctuations, LUX uses a fully enclosed architecture. Combined with high-speed ejectors and automatic targeting, this design helps reduce false rejects, protect optical components, and keep accuracy consistent during high-throughput, long-term operation.
LUX is suited to primary and fine sorting where colour-similar defects, dust-related performance drift and material variability cause problems on conventional machines. PLC integration and centralised control support retrofit and multi-unit lines.
