AMD P-LG deep learning belt-type colour sorters handle materials that traditional chute colour sorters cannot. Belt presentation keeps fragile product such as almonds, macadamia, walnuts and hazelnuts stable while cameras inspect colour, shape and surface defects.
Single-deck and double-deck options are available. A double decker can remove two contaminant types from the primary sort. On macadamia, deck 1 can take blacks, borer holes and husked nuts from whole nuts, then deck 2 can separate husked nuts from blacks so husked product can return to the de-husker.
Model codes
LG n is AI only. P-LG n is AI plus deep learning. n is the channel count: 2, 3, 4 or 6. Capacity is typically 800 kg to 1 t/h per channel.
Add Y for a waterproof belt sorter (example: LGY4, PLGY4). Add S for a double-decker (example: LGS4, PLGS4).
